This Refund Policy applies to payments made by users of services provided by Chirayu Tech India Pvt Ltd, including Caremap HMS + EMR, Caremap Protect, Tele Arogya, and any related sub-products operated under the Caremap brand. Refund rules vary by product because the underlying billing model is different — subscription, wallet-based, or per-consultation.
Read the section that applies to the product you have paid for. Where you have used more than one product, the refund policy for each product applies independently.
Caremap HMS + EMR is supplied to hospitals and clinics under a subscription or service agreement covering a defined billing period (typically annual or quarterly).
If you have paid for a Caremap subscription and the software has not yet been deployed at your premises, you may request cancellation within seven (7) days of payment. Where granted, refunds are processed net of any onboarding effort, demonstration time, or third-party costs already incurred on your behalf.
Once Caremap is deployed and access has been provided, the subscription fee for the current billing period is non-refundable. You may choose not to renew at the end of the billing period.
In the rare event of a prolonged service interruption attributable solely to Chirayu, we may, at our discretion, extend your subscription period as compensation. Pro-rated cash refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Caremap Protect operates on a wallet-based usage model. Healthcare organisations recharge their wallet and the wallet is deducted each time a consent recording is successfully created and stored within the system.
Once a consent is successfully recorded and stored, the corresponding wallet amount is deducted. Wallet deductions are final and are not refundable.
Wallet recharge transactions are also non-refundable. Recharge balances do not expire and may continue to be used for valid consent recordings within the Caremap Protect platform.
If a consent recording fails for technical reasons attributable to Caremap Protect (for example, a server error during recording) and no usable record is created, the corresponding wallet deduction will be reversed. Failures caused by network conditions at the user's end, device compatibility issues, or user actions are not covered.
This wallet-based model ensures system integrity and prevents misuse of consent recording resources.
For Tele Arogya, the platform itself is free for patients and free of listing charges for care providers. Patient charges apply only to the consultant's fee, which is set by the care provider. The following refund terms apply to those consultation payments:
If you believe a charge appearing on your card or bank statement is incorrect, please contact us first at contactus@caremap.in so we can investigate and resolve the matter directly. Raising a chargeback through your bank without first contacting us may delay the resolution and may, where the dispute is found to be unfounded, result in suspension of services pending recovery of any chargeback fees levied on Chirayu.

Chirayu reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. Changes become effective on the date they are posted on this page.
